Written in both russian and english language not only informs a wider spectrum of audience – it communicates resort's international standard in quality without losing cultural authenticity.

Annual calendar of russian festivals and events included in booklet increases booklet's keeping value.

A personal story by founder of resort leads reader into booklet – triggers curiousity and generates emotional response.

Information was arranged to be recieved at a slow pace – bringing forward a non-urban lifestyle to reader through a booklet.

A commisioned project to represent Vershina Seligera, a russian lakeside resort, to the UK market using print.

Vershina Seligera is located mid-way of Moscow and St. Petersburg, resort is by Lake Seliger, place is delicate, beautiful and quiet.

Because Russia is not one of the immediate holiday spots for most UK tourists, consumer literature has got to engage potential tourist, literature must be felt as something precious, something worth keeping. As a result, a rather substantial booklet was in order; not a flyer, not a poster, not a disposable.

No 'standard cover page' gives booklet a touch of fragility – reflecting the delicateness of nature.

Layout, of images and text, was set to be breathable – provides reader a sense of light open space.

Images can be enjoyed with no interference from text – text adds meaning to images, images provide weight to text.

A5 format – friendly and compact – in landscape, creates a broad spread, fills up reader's entire field of vision – maximising full strength of photography.

Paper and binding increases booklet's rural flavour. Wooden tray amplifies the flavour.
