In order to broaden Fete's appeal without losing its enduring tone, banners will be required to look contemporary not trendy, up-to-date yet classical, attractive to both young professionals and elders.

Banners must speak, not shout.

A voluntary work for The North Lambeth Parish.

Producing new banners for The North Lambeth Parish Fete was a signifcant investment for the Parish – banners will have to be re-usuable for, at least, the next 5 years.

The North Lambeth Parish Fete, an annual tradition since 1945, held at the Lambeth Palace, home to the Archbishop of Canterbury since 1200.

Layout facilitates 2 quick points of entry on a single banner, as a result, banner addresses audience from 2 different interests.

Typeface – Gill Sans – ensures banners' Britishness.

Banner design must interact and work with all four different locations; colours, size, speed.

Chosen colours play a major part in banner achieving its desired appeal and tone.

Subtle colour difference adds sophistication.

Negative space set to be a square to increase recognizability.
