She was sitting opposite her mother, her younger siblings, a brother and a sister, were beside their mother and opposite their father. Perambulators for her siblings were in between she and her father.

Her father left to accompany her siblings to the washroom.
Her mother's right leg started to fidget.
She took a tea-spoonful of froth from her mother's cappuccino, asked a question, smiled and spoke, mother made minimum eye contact.

Father returned with siblings, mother's right leg rested.
